Alexander Nally is an award-winning filmmaker, writer and producer. Always fascinated by storytelling, he has been making films and writing tales since childhood. His style as a filmmaker focuses on human emotion and cinematic vistas – always made with an infectious passion. He has a degree in Classical History and his love for Greek and Roman culture often influences his work.

At the age of 24, Alexander wrote, produced, directed and edited an independent feature film ‘The Telemachy’, a modern re-telling of Homer’s Odyssey. It was filmed on location in Greece and the UK, with post production at Pinewood Studios. The film premiered at Greece’s top film festival where it was lauded “a movie to see” by Thessaloniki Culture. It went on to screen at other international festivals including Barcelona, New York, LA and London where it picked up two awards. It was also selected by the Red Cross ‘Across Cultures Program’ for a special screening at BAFTA. Alexander then negotiated the sale and distribution of the film in the USA.

Alexander moved on to create content for Virgin Media Shorts, Yahoo and Raleigh International and co-produced the documentary ‘Eleven’. He then stepped into commercial production – spending five years producing work for Apple and is currently a producer for BETC Havas, creating content for brands like Rimmel, Nike and Disney. In his spare time Alexander works on various creative projects including writing and game design, while he continues to develop his skill as a filmmaker.
